Your private label bag manufacturer.
Compare custom bag manufacturers and handbag manufacturers with a clear brief. CarryFoundry is the bag brand of Dongguan Changrong Handbag Co., Ltd. We help you plan the style, materials, samples and order details. Use the steps below to turn your idea into a bag that fits your range.
Changrong's published company profile lists its founding year as 2011 and a workshop of 6,000 square meters. Those years of experience provide context; review samples, current capacity and the production plan for your own order.
1. Choose a bag for its job
Start with what the bag will hold and how people will use it. A cosmetic pouch may need a lining that is easy to wipe. A tote needs room for its contents and handles that suit the load. Custom backpacks need a clear plan for straps, pockets and padding. For messenger bags, specify the flap, strap length and laptop compartment. These details help us review the design before quoting.
Send a sketch, reference photo or sample to show the size and shape. List the items that must fit inside. Add the finished width, height and depth. Tell us if the bag is for retail, a gift set or a bulk brand project.
2. Plan material sourcing
Material sourcing starts with the feel, use and target cost of the bag. Our listed materials include canvas, nylon, polyester and PU. Share your preferred fabric, lining and color. The fabric weight, coating and backing can change how a bag feels and keeps its shape.
Review a swatch before you approve a sample. For a vegan leather brief, ask for the full material composition, including the backing and trim. PU is not genuine leather. For a leather handbag brief, state whether you need genuine leather or a PU alternative. Confirm the material, finish and sample before placing an order.
3. Make the label your own
A private label project can use your logo, colors, labels and packaging. Choose where each mark should sit. Send a clear artwork file and give the print size in millimeters. Show both sides of the bag if the design changes from front to back.
Print, embroidery and embossing create different effects. Check the chosen method on the actual material. Fine lines or small text may need a change to stay clear. Review the sample for logo color, position and feel. Keep the approved artwork version with your order so repeat runs use the same design.
4. Confirm price and minimums
Ask for a quote based on one clear bag specification. Include the quantity for each size, color and logo version. A total order of several colors may have different minimums from a single-color run. The fabric, trim and print method can also affect the minimum order.
Our catalog lists model-specific reference MOQs in the selected styles above. Confirm the current minimum for your chosen design. Ask which costs cover samples, tooling, labels and packing. Give the delivery country and target arrival date so the quote can separate the bag cost from freight and other agreed charges.
5. Approve the sample and checks
A bag factory needs a clear sample approval record. Check the fit with the real contents. Try the zipper, handles and straps. Look at seams, lining, pocket size and logo position. Record each change with a photo or marked drawing, then approve the final version in writing.
Define what high quality means for your use. Agree the dimensions, color tolerance, seam finish and any load or wear tests that matter. A photo alone cannot confirm strength or material claims. Set the inspection points before production starts. Compare finished production samples with the approved sample. Check bag size, seams, hardware, logo placement and packing. Agree how defects will be recorded and resolved before shipment.
6. Plan packing and delivery
Allow time for samples, changes, material sourcing and bulk production. Shipping is a separate stage. A dispatch date is not an arrival date. Share your launch date early and confirm the schedule once the sample, order details and payment terms are agreed.
For US orders, state the delivery ZIP code and any warehouse needs. Agree unit packing, carton size, labels and the shipping terms. Confirm who handles import clearance and duties. Before shipment, review the packing list and agreed inspection results. For repeat orders, keep the sample reference, material details and artwork files so changes can be checked.

The details that help turn an idea into a clear production brief.
What can be customized?
Begin with the bag shape, finished dimensions, material and lining. Then specify the handles, closures, pockets, logo treatment and individual packaging. A reference product or dimensioned drawing helps make the brief precise.
How is the minimum order quantity confirmed?
Catalog reference MOQs include 100 pieces for CR1439 and CR1741-1, 300 for CR602 and 500 for CR1594. Minimums vary by model, material, color and decoration. Confirm the selected specification and quantity per variant in your quotation.
What is needed for a quotation?
Provide the bag type, dimensions, preferred material, order quantity, logo artwork and delivery destination. Include a target date and budget range when available, along with reference images.
Can I review a sample before bulk production?
Yes. Review the construction, material, logo and packaging before approving bulk production. The CR1439 and CR1741-1 catalogs list a 5–7 day sample estimate, subject to reconfirmation. Confirm sample fees, revision scope and courier time separately for your project.
How are lead times determined?
Agree sampling, revisions, material preparation, bulk production and transport as separate stages. The production schedule depends on sample approval, final specifications, quantity and payment requirements. Request a dispatch date and shipping plan against your required arrival date.
